Three trees extend past
The rooftops; Beyond all is
Erased by thick fog
It's amazing to me how much fog changes the things I look at every day. If I'm heading downtown, I notice that it chops off the tops of buildings but with the fuzzy edge of an eraser. This morning, my normal view of Queen Anne is gone. Is the hill still there, just out of reach? I know it is... but somehow a part of me wonders. What if this little visible bubble is all there is?
I hear birds chirping even though they are out of view, so obviously the world extends beyond what I can see. :)
When your world suddenly looks different to you, how do you feel about it?
